Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 19, 2026
Savor Technologies LLC(“Savor,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Savor platform at findsavor.com and related web applications (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data.
By creating a Savor account or using the Services you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information — full name, email address, account credentials, and role type (restaurant or vendor) when you register.
- Organization profile — business name, city, state, description, logo, website URL, product categories, service area, delivery schedule, and minimum order information.
- Invoice documents and data — PDF or image files you upload for AI-assisted extraction, and the structured data we extract (vendor name, line items, amounts, dates). Uploaded files are stored in your account and remain accessible to you.
- Messages and requests— the content of messages and information requests you send to other Savor users through the platform’s messaging features.
- Connected QuickBooks Online data— if you choose to connect your QuickBooks Online (Intuit) account, you authorize Savor through Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 flow. We access only the QuickBooks data necessary to provide the features you enable, and we write the records needed to record your invoices into your QuickBooks company on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time from Savor settings or from within QuickBooks, which revokes our access.
- Vendor posts and catalog content — product updates, descriptions, and media that vendors publish on their profiles.
- Support communications — emails or messages you send to our team.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages and features you use, vendor profile views, search queries, and time spent on the platform.
- Device and connection information — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and general geographic region inferred from your IP.
- Authentication tokens — session and refresh tokens stored in your browser to keep you signed in.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Sign-in and billing providers — if you sign in through a third-party login or subscribe to a paid plan, we receive limited account information (such as your name and email) and your subscription and billing status from the providers you use. Savor never stores full payment card numbers.
- Publicly available sources— we may seed vendor profiles in the public directory using publicly available business information before a vendor joins the platform (“unclaimed profiles”).
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal information under the following legal bases: (a) performance of our contract with you — to create and manage your account, deliver the Services, and process your subscription; (b) our legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, improve platform features, and ensure platform security; (c) compliance with legal obligations — to meet applicable record-keeping and tax requirements; and (d) your consent — for optional communications such as marketing emails, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Create and manage your account and organization profile.
- Deliver the core platform features — invoice management, AI-assisted invoice extraction, vendor–restaurant messaging, and the vendor discovery directory.
- AI invoice extraction. When you upload an invoice, we use AI service providers solely to process the uploaded invoice and extract structured data (amounts, dates, line items). Extracted results are stored in your account.
- Process subscription payments through our payment processor and manage your billing relationship.
- QuickBooks Online sync. If you connect QuickBooks Online, we record your approved invoices in your QuickBooks company on your behalf. We use the authentication you grant solely to provide this feature, and for no other purpose. Savor uses QuickBooks data only to power features within Savor and never sells it or uses it for advertising.
- Display your vendor organization’s business information on the public vendor directory (vendors only), using the details you provide in your profile settings.
- Send transactional emails — email verification, invoice status notifications, approval alerts, and essential platform updates.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Analyze aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve platform features and prioritize product development.
- Comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own advertising purposes. We do use Google and Meta advertising tools on our marketing site, which involves sharing limited visitor data with those platforms to measure ad performance and enable remarketing — as described in Section 7. You may opt out of this at any time.
3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 Other platform users
When you send a message or information request, the content is visible to the recipient organization. Your name and organization name are visible to organizations you communicate or transact with on the platform. Vendor profile information you mark as public is visible to all users of the platform and to the general public via the vendor directory.
3.2 Service providers
We share data with the following service providers, each of which processes data only on our behalf and under a data processing agreement:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — database, authentication, file storage, and web application hosting and delivery. Infrastructure hosted in the United States.
- Payment processing — we use established, secure payment processors to handle subscription billing. Savor never stores full payment card numbers.
- AI service providers — invoice document content you upload is processed by AI service providers solely to extract structured data, and for no other purpose.
- Intuit (QuickBooks Online) — accounting sync for restaurants who connect their QuickBooks company. Data is exchanged with Intuit only at your direction and only to the extent needed to record your invoices. Your use of the QuickBooks connection is also governed by Intuit’s Privacy Statement.
- Product analytics — PostHog, used to analyze in-app usage patterns. PostHog processes data only on our behalf and does not use it for advertising or share it with third parties.
- Error monitoring — Sentry, used to capture application errors and diagnose technical issues. Sentry may process limited user-identifying context (user ID, browser, recent actions) when an error occurs. This data is used solely for debugging.
- Advertising measurement — Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), used on our marketing site to measure ad performance and enable remarketing to past visitors. See Section 7 for details and opt-out links.
We may change the specific providers we work with over time. Each provider processes data only on our behalf and only as needed to deliver the service. If you would like more detail about the providers we currently use, contact us at team@findsavor.com.
3.3 Business transfers
If Savor is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email before your personal data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3.4 Legal requirements
We may disclose your information if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Savor, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
4.1 Account deletion
When you delete your account from your account settings:
- Immediately: your ability to log in is revoked and your account is scheduled for permanent deletion.
- 30-day grace period: your account data is held in a deactivated state. If you change your mind, contact team@findsavor.com within 30 days to reactivate.
- After 30 days: we permanently delete from our systems: your user profile and credentials; all invoice documents (PDF/image files) from file storage; all AI-extracted invoice data and line items; all messages and information requests you sent or received; your organization profile and team member associations; and your QuickBooks OAuth credentials, if connected.
- What we retain: anonymized aggregate statistics that cannot identify you; billing transaction records required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes, stripped of unnecessary personal detail); and content shared with other users that is embedded in their records in anonymized form.
You may also request deletion by emailing team@findsavor.com. We will complete the deletion within 30 days of your verified request.
4.2 QuickBooks Online data
If you connect QuickBooks Online, we keep the connection only while it is active. When you disconnect — either from your Savor settings or from within QuickBooks — we promptly revoke and delete the credentials that allow Savor to access your QuickBooks company, and we stop accessing your QuickBooks data. Records that Savor created in your own QuickBooks company at your direction remain in your QuickBooks account, which you control. You may ask us to delete information associated with a past connection by contacting us at the address above.
5. Your Privacy Rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time by contacting us at team@findsavor.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information. Most profile data can be updated directly from your account settings.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data. Accounts can be deleted from app settings; we will honor deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Data portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us.
- Restriction of processing — request that we temporarily restrict how we use your data, for example while a correction request is being verified.
- Right to object — object to our processing of your personal information where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis. We will honor the objection unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA)— California law gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Savor does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a California privacy request, email team@findsavor.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”
- EU/EEA residents — right to lodge a complaint: if you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with applicable law.
6. Public Vendor Directory
Savor operates a publicly accessible vendor directory at findsavor.com/vendors. Public vendor profiles may display business name, category, city/state, description, logo, website, and publicly available rating information. This information is intended to help restaurants discover food and beverage suppliers.
We do not display personal names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment credentials, or internal account identifiers on public vendor pages. You control what business information appears on your public profile through your account settings.
Some vendor profiles are created from publicly available business information before a vendor joins Savor (“unclaimed profiles”). To claim or request removal of an unclaimed profile, email team@findsavor.com.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use the following technologies on our platform and marketing site to provide core functionality, understand how the platform is used, and measure the performance of our advertising. You can opt out of advertising-related tracking at any time using the links below.
Strictly necessary
Authentication cookies — session and refresh tokens that keep you signed in to the app. These are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled while you are signed in.
Product analytics
PostHog — we use PostHog to understand how users interact with the platform (pages visited, features used, session behavior). PostHog collects data on our behalf and does not use it for advertising or share it with third parties. Data is hosted in the United States.
Error monitoring
Sentry — we use Sentry to capture application errors and performance issues. Sentry may record technical context including your user ID, browser type, and the actions you were taking when an error occurred. This data is used solely for debugging and is not used for advertising. Data is hosted in the United States.
Advertising and remarketing
Google Ads and Google Analytics — our marketing site (findsavor.com) uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. Google sets cookies that measure how visitors interact with our marketing pages and whether they take actions after seeing our ads. Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Meta Pixel — our marketing site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram). The pixel sends information about your visit to Meta, which helps us measure ad effectiveness and show our ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may use this data in accordance with its Data Policy. You can opt out of Meta’s use of your data for ads at facebook.com/about/ads.
Your controls
You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings. Note that disabling advertising cookies will not prevent ads from appearing — it only means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
California residents:under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out of advertising tracking entirely, use the Google and Meta opt-out links above, or email team@findsavor.com with the subject line “California Opt-Out Request” and we will ensure your data is excluded.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest and access controls that limit data access to those who need it. No system is completely secure. In the event of a breach that may affect your data, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy
Savor is a business platform intended for adults (18+) operating or working for food service businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact team@findsavor.com and we will delete the account promptly.
10. Links to Third-Party Sites
The platform may contain links to vendor websites and other external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect and post a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
